Don't Forget About the Past

Written By Life is Gadget on Wednesday, 15 February 2012 | 23:28

Humans, starting from the creation of Adam and Eve who meet each other because they got a strongest love. We are born into the earth because of them. Earth is the place where the human can be creation the creativity.

Many of the changes that have been done by humans, ranging from something useful to something destructive, it's because of their creativity never stops. Life in the past is different 180° from our lives now, where we can do everything quickly with the help of technology.

Beginning of life in black and white turns into a life filled with color, something very unpleasant indeed. But do you remember the past lives with a black and white? Although many say leave the past for the future is wonderful, but you do not ever forget about the past, because with our past we can take many lessons from what we have done.

Still remember the second world war? yes, definitely lives in your mind about a world war who involving tens or even hundreds of millions of people dead. What is the reason for war come from?? Human selfishness and greed that caused the war broke out. Each state merebutkan each other's territory that shouldn't belong to them and peace was indeed the tale end of the war. But they did not realize because their deeds were cut through a life filled with injuries and grief. Haa, like a child just finished a fight and they make peace. That's the fate that has been given by God to us, humans are not going to feel the satisfaction before they dead.

But behind all that, at least now we have felt the beauty of peace, although not all of us who feel it. In addition, there are still many wars which we must pass, like war with our selfishness.

Maybe what we need today is to understand each other among fellow. Don't because a little difference can destroy all confidence in our understanding of others.

the Legend of the Flying Dutchman

Written By Life is Gadget on Monday, 13 February 2012 | 21:33

The historical record contains many versions of the story from the Flying Dutchman. The oldest one is the story of the Dutch sailors who are very ambitious in the conquest of the seas. In the century 1500-1600, long before the British have a strong fleet, the Dutch are known as the conqueror of the seas. Van Straaten is the captain of a role model and active in the seas and oceans, and are willing to risk everything to be the strongest captain. However, because of greed and arrogance of Van straaten, he  is punished by nature to live permanently on the Ship without being able to dock to dock! Reportedly named his ship is The Flying Dutchman and often roamed the Cape of Good Hope in the southern Africa. In local myth, a ghost ship can pass on the curse of Van Straaten. As a result, fishermen and boaters are encouraged to change they direction for ran from the ship's Van Straaten.

Furthermore, in 1821 discovered the first written records about the story of the Flying Dutchman. In one issue of Blackwood's Magazine, published in May in the year, was told that a Dutch fleet was condemned for having challenged nature. Hendrik van der Decken was captain of the fleet. Forerunner of this tragedy is the curse of Van Der Decken's ambition to complete the mission found the Cape of Good Hope. But slightly different from the old myth of the Flying Dutchman, Blackwood's Magazine describes more detail about the way the captain. 7 years after the mission is given, Van Der Decken have not found a Cape of Good Hope. Although the crew was feeling desperate, but because the captain had a very strict nature then no one dared to oppose his wish. Until one night, Van Der Decken managed to find the location of Cape of Good Hope with the help of a telescope. But to reach it he must pass the storm in front of him. Because ultimately upset Van Der Decken swore at blocking winds.

Not long after that a small boat met to the ship Van Der Decken, and fishermen in small boats to warn the captain did not go on that night. Rather than comply, or at least respect the advice of the fisherman, Van Der Decken even swore that he would choose doomed to sail forever until the Day of Judgment comes than to go down by nature. Instantly it anyway, no matter how Van Der Decken so hard effort, but he and his crew never could find a dock. Some stories say that Van Der Decken was not condemned and even he almost succeeded in berthing. But unfortunately all his crew exposed to pest so they can not be allowed to dock for fear of transmitting the disease in urban population. For not getting help, the entire crew of his ship and its captain died in the voyage at sea. The hurt makes them a spirit of curiosity that continues across the sea with his ghost ship. Another version noted that sadistic killing in Van Der Decken ship who killed all its occupant!

Some of old historical records say that a Dutch captain named Bernard Fokke allegedly is the other captain Flying Dutchman. Fokke also described as a highly skilled captain in the sea. It is said that Fokke can sail from Holland to Java in just a very short time. This is especially surprising because many parties in those days, the fastest ship just takes a long time to reach Java. Kepiwaiannya is then suspected by many that Fokke actually working with the devil so that ships can sail faster.

Several witnesses sightings The Flying Dutchman:

1823 Captain of the ship HMS Leven Oweb; two times has see the empty vessel floated blindly in the middle of the ocean, one of which may be the Flying Dutchman.

1835 A British ship was seen The Flying Dutchman speeding toward to ship, but after close it's disappeared.

1879 Some of the crew of the SS Petrogia saw the ghost ship.

1881 three crew members of HMS Baccante in which there is King George V saw it. The next day they saw a crew member who died suddenly.

1939 Seen in Mulkenzenberg , making the people who see it suddenly confused because the old ship just disappeared.

1941 There are reports from a beach Glenclaim, there is an old ship hit a reef. After the investigation there was no iota of shipwrecks in the vicinity.
