Sangduen "Lek" Chailert a.k.a the Queen of Thailand Elephant. For more than a decade he has worked tirelessly to save the elephant who was tortured after seeing a lot of torture against them when working in the forestry industry.

"When I first saw an elephant pull wood from forests that changed my life" he said.

"Like, pull the chain to move the timber, it cut her skin ... I looked into his eyes and I felt sick who she (the elephant) flavor.

"I can't help it and it made ​​me realize, I must go and do something for the elephants, one must stand up to them, they can't speak so I have to do it for them."

Chailert response is to establish the Elephant Nature Foundation which provides shelter and rescue center in Chiang Mai province of Northern Thailand, where the elephants from all over the country can be in care for a healthy back.

One of Chailert's program that runs from the center is a clinic on the ground for the elephants, called Jumbo Express. With a team of volunteers he had traced some hill tribes in remote villages in the country - the country to perform emergency treatment on an injured animal.
