for using symbian mobile phone as modem, in the old type mode mobile, you just need :

- Ovi Suite Application / Nokia PC Suite in your Personal Computer.

- then, setting the mobile phone to be come Coon.PC to net in the menu >Setting> Connection.

in the newest mobile phone, you just setting Coon.PC to net in the menu>Setting>Connection, then your Personal Computer will detected the drive for installing the application for your PC. so you can use your symbian mobile phone as a modem.
