Android creator Denies Will Leave Google

Creator of the operating system Android, Andy Rubin, reportedly will leave Google soon and resigned his position as head of Google Android Unit.

However, the story was immediately denied by the concerned. Andy Rubin issued a statement through his Google account + that contains the word rebuttal on Sunday (6/10/2012).

Rubin is the founder of Android Inc., the manufacturer of the Android operating system that Google bought in 2005. Currently the operating system has become the most popular mobile platform with a global market share of more than 60 percent, according to research firm International Data Research.

Previously, Rubin had thought would "jump ship" to a small startup company called CloudCar. In response, Rubin said, "CloudCar that my friends, that I give free office space in the incubator I am in Los Altos."

CloudCar share office space with another company named Revel Touch. "I do not intend to move to one of the company. I also did not think to leave Google," wrote Rubin.

Through his Twitter account, Rubin also mentioned that there are 900 000 Android devices are activated every day, up from last year's record number 700 000 devices per day.
