Google Remove 640 Video about Terrorism from Youtube

The search engine Google, said it had to remove as many as 640 video from Youtube website, which promotes terrorism. This they did after receiving complaints from the Police Officers Association of the UK.

The news was contained in a recent report revealed demand transparency from international authorities to remove or to submit material containing terrorism.

The company said it also froze the accounts of five video uploader charged matter of terrorism.

Overall, Google said it had received 461 requests from the court to remove a total of 6989 video between July and December 2011. That means Google has met 68% of demand.

In addition, there are as many as 546 informal requests that include a 4925 video, and 43% of them have been granted.

Among a number of requests that were rejected by Google, is directed by the Office of Immigration Canada. They asked for a video showing a Canadian citizen who urinated on his passport and then throw it into the toilet, removed from Youtube.

Google also refuses to remove a satirical YouTube video six soldiers and senior politicians of Pakistan. The request came from the Pakistan Ministry of Information.
